This is my traditional style fishing creel with a difference! Basket is handwoven of premium reed and is available in three stains: golden oak, red oak and black walnut. Instead of the oval hole to drop the fish through,this basket has a slotted pine lid with a spring loader roller assembly inside that insures smooth delivery of the paper through the slot. Has a leather wall hanger. The solid pine lid is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane, wet sanded, waxed and buffed to a smooth lustrous shine and is secured with a brass hinge and a rawhide thong and peg closure.
