Great Class at TAUNY

March 14, 2010

Yesterday, ten great folks took a packbasket weaving class I offered at TAUNY (Traditional Arts in Upstate New York) in Canton, NY.  TAUNY had asked me to come in to offer a session and am I        glad I did!

It was a blast.

I met and worked with a wonderful  group of enthusiastic weavers , most of whom had never  woven before.  They each produced a  full-sized packbasket during our 7 hour session.   They were all eager and motivated.  Their final results were spectacular.

TAUNY has also posted photos on its site:  www.tauny.org .

The hospitality shown by the TAUNY staff and the interest and good humor shown by the participants made for a fine day.  I hope the group enjoyed it enough to keep weaving.  Congratulations to all!
