Weave a traditional “square to round” gathering basket with a curved oak hoop handle. You may chose from three sizes: Small - hoop size: 8″w X 9″h – finished basket base is 8″ X 8″, Medium - hoop size: 10″w X 13″h – finished basket base is 10″ X 10″ or Large - hoop size: 12″w X 12″h – finished basket base is 12″ X 14″.
All of the hoop handles are solid oak and the spline joints are secured with glue and pins. They are very strong and durable.
This class is for beginners as well as weaving “veterans”. All necessary tools and materials are provided. Complete instructions for applying a finish to your basket are included. Approximate time to complete: 4 to 5 hours. Bring a snack or lunch.
